  • Albolote Tower

    Albolote Tower, view to the northeast. Local Time: 13:34 25 of November. It is a lookout tower built in the Nasrid period (XIII century Nasrid Dynasty), founded by Muhammad ibn Yusuf ibn Nasr to watch over the Granada area about the Christian invaders. As a point of reference for many Grenadines fortifications, it depended on the Alhambra in Granada because of its proximity to the capital (about 4 nautical miles). Left arrow:”Peñón de la Mata”.
